Braided Stainless Brake & Clutch Lines

When I first mounted a set of braided stainless lines on a bike, I took it out for a ride to see if they really made that much of a difference.  I was truly amazed at how much of an improvement stainless lines make in brake lever feel.  Once the stainless lines are in, and properly bled, the brakes simply do their job better.  No drama, no spongy lever, no problem.

Installing a stainless clutch line provided a similar improvement in clutch lever feel.   Yamaha has always taken it on the chin for their hydrolic clutch lever feel and high lever effort.  Installing this line -- which is a very easy afternoon's job, by the way -- seemed to reduce both lever effort and also the "on/off" feeling that plagues some hydraulic clutches.
